Welcome to web - site of the Saints Peter and Paul's Roman-Catholic Parish in Bertoua!
The parish has been established in 1990, and since 1996 has been leaded by Dominicans from the Polish Province.
As one can see on the attached map, our town is located at the south-east part of Cameroon at 340-km (140 km of asphalt road and 200 km of dirt-track) distance from Cameroon's capital city Yaounde.
Bertoua's population is about 80 000 people.
Out of 10 000 people living at area of our parish, there are 5675 baptised catholic.
Our parishioners live in 7 districts of Bertoua and in 25 villages. We visit villages every few months. The most distant village is about 200 km apart from our church.
Here we would like to present our parish and its priests, and allow ourselves to ask you for donation with church development project as well as "adoption" of some of our youngest parishioners. ... All that and some interested links, and more information against a background of some photos.
